Quick Notes (please read: I’m drunk): NFC Championships, Bad Boys 2, OutKast, etc…

Well I’m broke as a jizzoke. And by China standards that’s pretty bad. I gotsta fat knot coming to me soon but it’s not here yet. Needless to say, come Monday morning’s NFC championship game between the Carolina Pussies (I mean Panthers) and the Ill-adelphia Eagles I’m going to be big balling it with a bottle of Hennessy at whatever bar is showing the game. All up in the club, bottle full of bub and all that shnizznoise. I say Monday morning because to watch it live in Chizzina I gotsta get my ass out of bed at six thirty to go down to the bar showing the game at 7:45 in the A.M. Damn that sucks, I knizzow, but I will go to any length to watch this game and I swear to God if the Eagles lose again this year I’m just going to lose it.

Meanwhile I wasted half of my “school only” dough (money I can only use at school) on beer so I could unwind these next few days after what has been and enlightening and extremely stressful semester. My students, by and large, were absolute angels and I’d do anything for them. Some, however, will send me to an early grave. I worry about some of these kids (they are kids, I mean it) like I don’t know what. Compared to their American counterarts these students are about ten years behind in terms of social development. My maternal side is constantly forcing me to go above and beyond my duties as a teacher and although it can be rewarding it can also be stressful and frustrating. But it’s over for now and I ain’t gotsta worry about them for a month. So while I’m relaxing, broke, with beer out the yin yang I’m going to rock out with my boys and a certain dvd by the title of:

Screaming endorsement? Oh yeah.

Yeah players, this is the second time I’ve watched this biatch and it rules! I love this movie. I want to have Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s babies. That’s the extent to how much this movie owns. I got nothing else to say, except:

X gonna give it to ya: (There’s really no reason for this, I just thought it was a cool picture of DMX. I’ve been listening to his music a lot lately and it helps get me mentally ready for my classes.)

By the way, I heard some tracks off of OutKast’s new album and I’ve been blown away. I know I’m a few months behind the times, but cut me some slack, I’m in China. I’ve been listening to OutKast since they were on Stone Gossard’s indie label and I’m sure it’s cliched to praise it by now but I literally got choked up and misty the first and second time I heard “Hey Ya.” It’s an amazing song (Some other songs that have brought me to tears are You Were Right by Badly Drawn Boy, Johnny Mathis’ Feet by the now defunct American Music Club and She’s Only Seventeen by Winger.) Andre 3000 and Big Boi deserve every one of the six Grammies they’ve been nominated for. Man, six Grammies, that’s like En Vogue in the mid 90’s when they got seven.

I mean look at these two. They are the personifications of cool if you ask me and I know cool.
